Page 2: Pilgrimage

I try to not let anything bother me in life , usually taking a laid back care free approach to everything. As a result I don’t worry too much.

This means I usually take my time to make the smallest of decisions, most of the time letting things happen on their own.

I love life, and the possibilities it holds for me.

The only problem is that there are so many paths I could go down, and I need to make a decision...

Page 3: Pilgrimage

Which path will take me where I want to go?

Sometimes what we want most is not what we get. We try to follow the path of joy in our heart.

This is the life I want to lead.

Ever since I remember, I’ve been obsessed with stories.

I used to draw a lot when I was younger. I used to think I wanted to be a designer, someone to influence others.

But honestly, I just wasn’t that fascinated by drawing figures. I was much more intrigued by their stories and by the way that, after I put them on a page, my characters would start doing things all by themselves, almost as if by magic.

My passion and creativity led me to study art at GCSE and A-Level, a position I was comfortable and happy with, with some challenges along the way. I developed skills, learnt new things and let my new found creativity grow and flourish.

After that , I was unsure of my next step, of what I would do and who I wanted

to become. I was stuck and had no idea what to do with

my life.

Page 6: Pilgrimage

I made a decision without any understanding of where it was

going to take me.I took a risk without knowing

what would become of meI came to University after all, and it

turned out for the better.

Only time will show me the rest of my journey. All i hope is that I enjoy the

adventure, and have fun in whatever I decide to do.

Life is a journey for you and you alone. It is not my destiny to follow anyone, but to forge my own path. Some will run, some will walk, and some will dance through life. But a path is a decision that can be changed at any time simply by veering into the unknown until you find another one.

The desination is mine to decide.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,And sorry I could not travel bothAnd be one traveler, long I stood

And looked down one as far as I couldTo where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,And having perhaps the better claim

Because it was grassy and wanted wear,Though as for that the passing there

Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally layIn leaves no step had trodden black.

Oh, I marked the first for another day!Yet knowing how way leads on to wayI doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sighSomewhere ages and ages hence:

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.
