We found both linear and non-linear examples of indie artist websites. We decided to create a non-linear website because we felt that it would be

better visually and would be more interactive and interesting for our audience.

We decided not to include a news page as our homepage provides our audience with updates about the band by being a hub for all of Pilgrim's social media accounts.

We chose not to have a discography page as Pilgrim are a debut band with only one album. Dan Croll is an indie artist who also does not have a discography page.

Although competition pages are unconventional for the indie genre, we felt that it would be a good interactive opportunity; especially appealing to our secondary audience of British 16-24 year olds who idolise the band and would love to spend a day with them.
