Vibration and alignment-stopThe aeration of the pile is effected in horizontal position. For the pile align-ment, the pile has to be turned by 90° and tilted forwards. The tilted position can be adjusted according to the char-acteristics of the paper. The alignment process is assisted by aeration and vibra-tion. The vibration is infinitely adjustable.The alignment-stop is always positioned at the outer rim and prevents the sheets from slipping through during the aeration process. The alignment-stop is extended manually by the operator as well as the adjustment according to the current sheet format.

Aeration deviceExtensive nozzles grant optimal aeration results. The duration of the aeration is in-finitely adjustable. For the aeration of the material the platforms have to be slightly opened, the opening width is adapted to the processed material. For this, the machine disposes of a creep hoist to assure that the platforms are precisely positioned. The aeration process can be stopped at any time in order to remove sheets. The machine is equipped with high pressure, energy saving fans which produce a very high volume of cool air.

EQUIPMENT VARIANT DThe equipment variant D consists of fully automatic pile turners with motor-driven turning. Within the operator access area the machine is equipped with a protec-tive cage and a safety light curtain.

AUP: High-End without compromisesThe pile turners of the special series AUP have been uncompromisingly designed for the rigorous continuous operation within logistic systems. The premium components used for the AUP pile turners are supplied by selected sub-suppliers, such as: FESTO (pneumatic parts), HÖRBIGER (hydraulic parts) BOSCH REXROTH (linear guides).

The manual turning of paper, cardboard or similar materials is a back-breaking and time consuming process and thus very expensive. High-End-Pileturner BSW 7-2000 AUP

New blower technologyThe new generation BaumannWohlenberg pile turners are characterized by the application of high-pressure fans instead of channel blowers. With the same current consumption, the new fans provide the double air volume! Moreover, the air is compressed less and thus considerably colder.

TECHNOLOGY HIGHLIGHTS

Speed-adjusted hydraulic system (from BSW 3-1200 standard)The new control of the hydraulic system allows a „smooth“ acceleration and slowing down of the titling movements. Like this, the high mechanic pressure is considerably reduced and the „seesaw tendency” effectively prevented.

Touchpanel for easy operationClear and explicit symbols facilitate the operation. Addition-ally, the operator has full access to the integrated technology memory and all error codes. So that you may also play in the „Premier League“ in future, the control software is regularly extended and updated.

Integrated blowerFrom BSW 6, the blower is integrated in the frame. Like this, the access to the pallet is much easier and ergonomic.

Touch operation panelClear and easy operation via buttons and joystick.

Supporting guide (optional)Perfect support for the aeration process. The sheets are not blown up by mistake.

Pallet clamping (optional)Very easy removal of spoilt sheets and simple change of damaged pallets.

Pressure limitation (optional)The platforms are stopped by means of a light barrier – avoiding an excessive pressing by mistake.

Mobile control panel (optional) There is the possibility to use a mobile con-trol panel, allowing the operator to operate the blowers directly next to the stack.

Catwalk (optional)For any manual handling of the pile the machine can be equipped with a catwalk which provides an ergonomically good access to the paper (as from BSW 6).

Motor-driven assisted turning (optional)The basic pile turners can be equipped with a motor-driven assisted turning de-vice. This variant does not require a large safety light barrier as the operator has to stay at the control panel in order to manually activate the turning (two-hand operation).

Multi access (optional)When processing transverse as well as longitudinal slatted pallets (as for ex. EURO pallets), this options offers the possibility to approach the platform of the pile turner not only from the front, but also from the lateral side. For this purpose, a pit is required.

LV tilt-plus (optional)When processing large format sheets with poor paper/cardboard stability it may happen that the material becomes more instable when opening the platforms for the aeration process. To almost avoid this effect it is possible to laterally tilt the pile in order to trans-fer the balance point to the side. This option also helps to improve the alignment of those piles which normally are difficult to process.
