We too reflect on these elements of ourselves as we turn to God for peace and hope amidst the Christmas celebraons. We come together as bereaved parents - in prayer, in WORD and in faith. The session, run by bereaved parents, meets monthly to pray, reflect and break open the WORD OF GOD. We invite any parent who has lost a child (regardless of age and no maer how recent or long ago) to unite with us in faith. Our monthly session is on every 4 th Tuesday of the month, 7:30pm to 9:00pm at Agape Village, Toa Payoh Lorong 8, and the next one would be held on Tue 26 December 2017. MARANATHA!

Gabriel the archangel brought hard joy to the Virgin Mary: “Rejoice, most favored, the Lord is with you. If you agree, you will have a baby who is your savior and your God.” What an awe-filled choice. And Mary said yes. Such cooperation between the Lord and the woman begins the revelation of the great hidden mystery: the presence of Christ Jesus, Savior and Lord, among us. PIETA is a support group for bereaved parents. At Christmas we are reminded of Jesus' humanity, his frailty and dependence on those around him. PERSONAL MORAL COMPASS COURSE 2018 BY REV FR DAVID GARCIA, OP.

The Personal Moral Compass Course is for all Catholics and all people of goodwill interested in formation in the foundations of Ethics and Moral Theology. It is a one-year-long systematic course in Moral Theology consisting of 6 individual modules. This course is organized under Caritas Singapore.

This workshop will be held weekly on Thursdays, starting on 4 January 2018; 7:30p.m. to 9:30p.m., in Agape Village, 7A Lorong 8 Toa Payoh. For more information and registration, please refer to the Caritas Singapore website: www.caritas-singapore.org or email to [email protected]

CANTEEN (REMINDER) Please note that the Canteen has ceased its operations from 5 November to the end of

December 2017 to facilitate the Renovation of the Function Hall and the Christmas Season. The

canteen will resume operations next year, details of which will be announced in due course.

HOLY FAMILY PARISH FEAST DAY CELEBRATIONS

The Church of the Holy Family will be celebrating her Feast Day on Saturday 30 Dec 2017 @ 5pm, to give thanks to God as "One Family in Faith, Love and Service."

The festivities continues with the Feast Day dinner at Roland Restaurant.

A gentle reminder to bring along your dinner ticket(s) to the dinner.

Dinner will commence promptly.

We have launched our "Call for Parish Mission Volunteers". We are still short of volunteers for the logistics of the Mission to go smoothly. You can register to be a volunteer by going to the parish office to fill in the form and then submit your form by placing it in the box at the office. Registration is still open.

THE BIBLE AND THE SACRAMENTS—NEW STUDY

Allow the Sacraments come alive to you in a whole new way through exploring their origin, their purpose and their foundational role in our Catholic faith.

Our parish will begin the 11-week study on Tuesday, 16th January @ 8.00pm and on Wednesday, 17th January 2018 @ 10.00am. Cost: $38
