Picture This Public Art Photography Project, Phase I (1996) & Phase II (1998)Under the Guidance of artist Tarah Rider Berry and Rebecca Ross (for Phase I), Phoenix youth ages 11 to 18, created

an extraordinary portfolio of their lives, families and communities. In times where children are exposed to violence and

turmoil the Phoenix Arts Commission, in partnership with the City of Phoenix Police and Parks, Recreation and Library

departments, sponsored Picture This to provide an opportunity for youth to explore their creativity in a positive manner and gain valuable life skills.
