Milk is available for lunch me as a year‐ly purchase for $25.
Milk order forms were placed on‐line over the summer and forms are also available in the elementary office. Milk is available eve‐ry day except on days fol‐lowing a Monday holiday or if other delivery problems occur.

From the Elementary Health Office
Students may not have any type of medicine in their possession—it must be kept in the office. Please bring medicine (prescrip on and/or over‐the‐counter) to the office and fill out a Medica on Form.
We will dispense medicines as prescribed and requested.
Addi onally, make sure your chil‐dren have healthy snacks and bring a lot of water to drink.

Moms in Prayer You are invited to pray with us! Moms In Prayer is a group of moms who meet regular‐ly (see our schedule below) to pray for our children, school, teachers, and staff. We know that prayer makes a difference in their lives and our school.
High School Info We meet on Friday mornings from 8:30am to 9:30am in the Old School House located on the high school campus. Moms In Prayer gathers moms together, in a relaxed envi‐ronment, to pray specifically and scripturally for our children, school, teachers and staff. Please join us in prayer for this next genera on. Reminder: Middle School Parent Orienta on Night Tuesday, September 22 at 6:30 PM. All students who are plan‐ning to par cipate in any sports this year please work on ge ng your ath‐le c paperwork in as soon as possible.
ATHLETIC CLEARANCE - all sports Athletic clearance is now online!
o It must be filled out so athletes are cleared before the first game of the sport season. See instructions at http://www.ocschools.org/athletics/inside-athletics/handbook-forms/ Turn in the doctor physical form and the transportation form to Miss Moore (room 306 or her mailbox in
the middle school office) so she can complete the last step of clearance. Athletic clearance must be completed each year for sports participation.
VOLLEYBALL - (7th and 8th grade girls only) Tryouts Monday from 3:00-4:30pm

Wear appropriate athletic clothes and shoes.

MID-WEST COLLEGE TOUR 2015
Juniors, seniors, and serious sophomores will have a chance to tour Dordt College, Trinity College, Hope College and Calvin College on a trip, Nov 9- Nov 14. This is during the week of Parent Conferences so students will be missing 3 ½ days of school. The 4 colleges will reimburse some of the airfare for each student attending the trip when we return home. Please email Mrs. Gallagher if you are interested in this exciting college tour, [email protected]. If you are at all interested please let us know! Sign up by Friday, October 15, 2014. Limited to 20 students SAT Prep class by www.TierOneTutors.com will be held 5 Saturdays starting October 1th and ending October 31st. The fol-lowing Saturday, Nov 7 will be a SAT test date. The class runs from 9AM-1PM. The cost is $97 and you can sign up online or get a flyer from the Career Center. More SAT/ACT prep information is available under standardized testing at http://ccc.ocknight.org. Seniors should be planning to take either the ACT or SAT soon so the results are available for college admissions. Go to www.collegeboard.com and www.actstudent.org to sign up and for more info. Test schedules and free prep material are available in the Career Center or under standardized testing at at http://ccc.ocknight.org Juniors should start tak-ing the ACT or SAT in the spring of their junior year. The redesigned SAT will be first given on March 5, 2016 Monday, October 5, 2015 OCHS will be hosting the Christian College Fair from 6PM to 8PM in the Chapel. This is a FREE event, open to ALL students and parents. Be sure to invite your friends. Go to www.myblueprintstory.com to register and for a list of colleges that will be attending. The So Cal College Fair will be held at the Fairplex in Pomona on Tuesday, Oct. 7 from 5-8 PM. Go to www.socalcollegefair.com for more info. Many colleges are visiting our campus during lunch break this fall. Be sure to stop by their tables. Check the Career Center calendar in the library or under announcements at under standardized testing at at http://ccc.ocknight.org for names and dates. Seniors—Questbridge National College Match is designed for seniors who show outstanding academic ability despite facing economic challenges. Most College Match scholarship recipients come from households earning less than $60,000(household of 4) and have experienced long-term economic hardship. Go to www.questbridge.org for more info.
