November 2018 Students of the Month Rocco Albanese Rocco presented a slideshow to both bands about Griffin’s Guardians. He is showing great leadership skills by being a role model about helping out in our community and supporting a very important cause. I am proud of his bravery and leadership skills! November 2018 Students of the Month

Rocco Albanese

Rocco presented a slideshow to both bands about Griffin’s Guardians. He is showing great leadership skills by being a role model about helping out in our community and supporting a very important cause. I am proud of his bravery and leadership skills! Also, thank you for being our class mailman!

Madison Alcock

Madison has been teaching herself Photoshop and is moving ahead of the class. Madison explores the different tools and uses for Photoshop and is always eager to teach the entire class, at the teacher’s computer. I am so glad I have Madison as a student. Keep up the great work, Madison!

Nathaniel is a hardworking student who has made great strides this year both academically and in displaying a positive attitude. Great job, Nathaniel!

Matthew works exceptionally hard to be successful in our class! He is always on task and ready to learn. He works well with others and his work ethic provides an example for his peers to follow! Great job, Matt! You are a pleasure to have in our class!!

Haleigh Demperio

It is my pleasure to nominate Haleigh for student of the month. She is a role model for her classmates. She is always prepared, attentive, and contributes often to the class discussion and lesson. If she is unclear about a concept presented, she asks. Her hard work allows her to be academically successful.

Haleigh never hesitates to work with others. She will often volunteer to help students that she knows are having difficulty. Haleigh is an asset to our Algebra class and I am fortunate to have her in my class.

I see great things in Haleigh’s future as she has the skills, attitude and compassion to be an important part of any environment and community to which she belongs.

Isabella Dixon

Isabella shows a drive and love for History that is invigorating. She is always kind and courteous to others and goes “above and beyond” in her work.

Julia Donovan

Julia frequently finishes early and has the teacher check her work to make sure she met all requirements. Julia is able to go around the classroom to help others with their project or to remind students to stay on task. I am so glad I have Julia as a student. Keep up the good work, Julia!

Lily Dwyer

Lily is an excellent student and an even better person. She is always kind and courteous to others. She enhances any learning environment with her positive attitude and academic acumen.

Lily has recently switched to a new instrument in band. She is working hard and practicing which is helping her progress. Keep up the excellent effort!

Abby is an excellent student who applies herself and helps others around her. She always gives her best effort, is positive, and shows respect for the learning environment.

Troy Ferguson

Troy has switched instruments this year and is working hard at learning his new instrument. He practices and puts in more time to help him progress which in turn helps his section and the band. Keep up the excellent effort!

Myjunique Fortino

Myjunique Fortino is a great example of a model of a student. Her treatment of her classmates and her insightful contributions to class discussions is beyond her years. Her smile brightens the room every day!

Grayson Giddings

Grayson frequently finishes early and meets all requirements. Grayson is always willing to go around the classroom and help others. I am so glad I have Grayson as a student. Keep it up, Grayson!

Breanna Hemingway

Breanna is always positive in class and goes above and beyond to share this quality with others! Breanna was exceptionally kind to another student in class when he was struggling to understand directions. She volunteered to help him and provide guidance. She quietly got him on the right track so that he could move forward successfully!

Paige Irvine

Paige brings an energy to class that enhances the learning environment. She helps others when they need it and takes a leadership role where appropriate.

Nicholas Klamm

Nick Klamm exhibits outstanding leadership skills for his age. He always participates in class discussions and activities in an enthusiastic and positive manner. He is truly a pleasure to have in class.

Amber Lathrop

Amber has shown a great attitude this year and works hard in all of her classes that has led to an improvement in her grades this year. Way to go, Amber! Keep up the great work!

Jennica Martin

Jennica has demonstrated an excellence in her writing so far in ELA. No matter what the writing task, she completes it with great artistry and refinement. We have also noticed that she has a talent in drawing as well. We appreciate Jennica volunteering to be tech assistant and her attention to detail as she helps put away chrome books each class. Keep this momentum going!

Sabrina Noel

Sabrina is a wonderful example of someone with determination and a work ethic. She always has a smile and a kind word. She is an excellent student and role model.

Kaley is such a pleasure to have in class. She’s always got a positive attitude, is responsible, and is willing to help out in any way asked. She works very hard and is an encourager to others!

Ms. Bowden

Roemellow Robinson

Roemellow is a positive role model in and out of the classroom. In class, he is always helping his peers; he is the first to lend a hand at any time needed. He also works hard to make sure he and all his classmates are on task. His friendly, outgoing, and positive personality make him someone that others always want to be around. His is also a positive role model in the cafeteria during lunch; he walks around to each table greeting his peers and reminding them of cafeteria rules and procedure. He is also a leader on the football team and takes his role as team captain very seriously. Roemellow’s wonderful personality makes him a true leader in 8th grade, he goes out of his way to connect with many students, especially ones he doesn’t know yet. He shows respect to both his peers and adults at all times within our school. His fellow classmates look up to him and admire his outstanding behavior and contribution to our school. Roemellow leads by example!!

Always willing to help anyone! Jake is very knowledgeable in Photoshop and when we are working on a project, if a hand goes up, Jake says “I got it” and will go to any student and say “What do you need?” Jake is a very thoughtful, caring person. I am so glad I have Jake as a student. Keep up the great work, Jake!!

Logan Sutton

VERY trustworthy, e.g. Logan found a wallet outside of the school while the class was taking pictures. The wallet had cash in it, and Logan immediately turned it into the teacher. Logan also brings his camera every day and is organized/prepared. I am so glad I have Logan as a student. Keep up the great work, Logan!!
