Recently hailed as the Gramophone Artist of the Year 2016, he has performed with virtually all of the leading orchestras around the world and in the five years since bursting into the spotlight has already made debuts at the most prestigious concert venues in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. While maintaining his full touring schedule, Trifonov still finds the time to continue his studies at The Cleveland Institute of Music with Babayan. In this rare appearance together, the duo will allow us to witness the cherished passing of music from one generation to the next right before our eyes.
