WHY PI IS SO IMPORTANT
The reason why PI is so important in math is because it helps us find the circumference and diameter of a circle. It doesn't matter how big or small the circle is the ratio stays the same. PI can easily be measured with a string but is not accurate. PI has been popular for centuries.

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF PI
Pi, the circumference of a circle divided by diameter, shows up in all sorts of mathematical solutions. sometimes in unexpected mathematical answers. The number π (PI) is a mathematical unit that is the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, and is approximately equal to 3.14159. It has been represented by the Greek letter "π". The real number of PI is never ending although some scientists have discovered more than six billion digits of PI. Pi can be approximated by the ratio of 22/7
