    Studentsmustcomplete100pointsofMathematicsandStatisticssubjectsintheDiploma.Upto50pointsofthismaybecrosscredited,countingtowardsboththeundergraduatedegreeaswellastheDiploma.

    Inadditiontothe100pointsofMathematicsandStatistics,manystudentswillberequired(duetoprerequisites)todooneortwoadditionalsubjectsintheirBachelordegree.

    WithintheDiploma,studentsmustmeettherequirementsforaMajorinMathematicsandStatistics.

    InadditiontotheMajorfortheDiploma,studentsmustcompleteadifferentMajor(i.e.notinMathematicsandStatistics)tosatisfytherequirementsoftheirBachelordegree.IntheirBachelordegree,studentsundertakingtheDiplomamayNOTmajorinPhysicswithaMathematicalPhysicsspecialisation,althoughaMajorinPhysicswitheitheraPhysicsorChemicalPhysicsspecialisationisallowed.

    Whenapplying,studentsmustsubmitacourseplanfortheirBachelordegreeandDiploma,nominatingwhichsubjectswillcounttowardstheDiplomaandwhichwillcounttowardstheBachelordegree,andwhichwillbecrosscredited.

    FastTrackingStudentsmayoverloadtheircourse,taking62.5pointsineachsemester(i.e.5subjectsinsteadoftheusual4)iftheyhaveanaverageinfirstyearofatleast70%(H2B)withnofailedsubjects.Overloadinginfirstyearisnotpermitted.Alternatively,studentsmayopttotakeanextrasemesterofstudytocompletetheDiploma.
