Why do we need warming up activities?

Reduce stress Warm up muscles (speech organs: voice) Protect voice (Group) energize the atmosphere and

provide enjoyable language learning

Under stress we tighten our muscles and HOLD the tension we're feeling. It locks itself into our bodies and can call out serious illness. One of the first places tension shows is in our breathing patterns.

Sit comfortably, backs touching the chair, legs are relaxed, feet on the floor, hands on thighs, eyes closed.I feel calm, relaxed, at peace.I can feel the contact of my feet with the floor.My feet are in contact with the floor.I can feel my legs in contact with the chair.I can feel my back in contact with the chair.I can feel my hands and arms in contact with my legs.My whole body is relaxed. I feel calm and relaxed.

Guided relaxation

Stand in a balanced position. Put your hands on the bottom of your ribcage and breathe deeply. Count to 5 and then hold your breath for a count to 5. Then release slowly on a count to 10.

Just breathe..

Stand in the balanced position, raise your arms above your head as high as possible, bring your palms together. In this position you take 3 deep breaths and release slowly each time. Then come back in the normal standing position and take another 3 breaths.

Push your lips out like ..and smile again. Two movements 5 times..

Push your tongue out as far as possible, then curl the tip of your tongue back and touch the soft palate. Then push it out again and again curl it back – 5 times.

(make the exercises regularly); The less air we take in, the worse we

feel and the less effectively we speak; Warm up activities will help you to
