Morphology

Morphology : 1. Female 10-13 mm long is slightly larger than male 8-11 mm long. A. duodenale, 8 to 13 mm long , A. braziliense, from 8 to 11 mm long, dark in color, anterior end have a large buccal cavity containing one (A. braziliense ), two (A. duodenale ), three (A. caninum , A. tubaeforme ) pairs of sharp teeth and more or less hooked.

Morphology

The male’s posterior end is expanded to form a copulatory bursa.

2. Eggs: 60×40 µm in size, oval in shape, shell is thin and colorless. Content is 2-8 cells.
