Welcome to PHS P.AT.S Session
“P.A.T.S” -What is it? • Preparing All Teachers for Success. • These sessions serve as a support system that for
beginning and new / probationary teachers. This also includes facilitating means for developing mentoring relationships.
• Sessions that are provided each month focus on instructional support, and other key topics that are tied to professional growth for our new and beginning teachers at PHS.
• The goal of this program is to promote all of our teacher’s success.
• 1st Friday of each MONTH!.

What’s Next in P.A.T.S?
October 14th : Beginning Teacher Support Year 3 ( TBD). October 30th: Beginning Teacher Support Year
1- 12:30-3:30pm (Crain’s Creek).
Friday- November 7th : “Getting the Most Growth out of your Students”. Understanding EVAAS in room 3107.
Friday- December 12th: “Relax, Relate, and Release” with Coach Lafell-Location TBA.
Thursday- December 18th: “Holiday Bowl” at Aberdeen Bowling Alley @ 5:00pm
Mentee requirements 2014-2015
Required to have at least 4- contact hours per month. (Logs)
Monthly Logs will be returned to you once photocopied by administrator.
* Note contact hours may be formal or informal modes.
Ensure that activities that these contact hours relate to are reflective of the Professional Teaching Standards.
Communicate specific areas of need to your mentor.
