Is a handheld fiber optic temperature measurement system for use in high temperature RF environments or EMI applications, where mobility is key. Use the PalmSense2 out in the field, in manufacturing facilities, or in the lab for quick and accurate temperature measurement.

The FluoTemp temperature converters offer high accuracy, reliability and enhanced diagnostics in high temperature and electro-magnetic interference (EMI) environments. Well suited for a wide range of applications and OEM integration in industries where precision and reliability are critical.

PowerTemp Series

The PowerTemp Series consists of a Compact Multi-Channel Temperature Transmitter and Compact Single-channel Temperature Transmitter, and is used for temperature measurement of critical components in the Power Industry.

Positioning SensorsPhoton Control positioning sensors are used in the semi-conductor industry to monitor the movement of silicon wafers as they are passed by robotic arms. These sensors are custom engineered to meet the demands of our OEM customers.

SpectroscopyOur spectrometers are robust and versatile instruments, ideal for OEM integrations and core research. Optical Flow Meters

Based on the “laser-two-focus” method, our Focus® 2.0 Optical Flow Meter - the only laser technology to reach industrial flow metering applications - is used by oil and gas companies around the world to measure and monitor the flow of flare gases in oil production.

Oil and gas companies use our measurement technologies around the world to monitor gas flow rates at well sites and production plants, ensuring they meet regulatory emissions requirements.

PowerTemp Series

The PowerTemp Series is specifically designed for the power and utilities industry to help monitor the temperature within key components in power plants, substations, dams and elsewhere.

It consists of a Compact Multi-Channel Temperature Transmitter and Compact Single-channel Temperature Transmitter, which provide accurate and reliable temperature measurement of critical components that can assist in maximizing the life expectancy and avoiding catastrophic failure to Transformers, Generators, Switchgears, High Voltage Connectors and other parts.

Our sensors can not only be built into equipment at the manufacturing stage, but can also be put into existing generators.

The PowerTemp system is a very efficient and low cost way to measure and monitor the temperature within key components such as dry transformers and switch gear in power plants, dams and substations. We have implemented our system in countries around the world, including China and Indonesia.

The power industry depends on the reliability of key components within its transformers and generators to keep the lights on and vital infrastructure working in cities around the world.

The semiconductor manufacturing process involves a multitude of steps that need precise monitoring, to maintain correct temperatures and positioning of the silicon wafers at all times.

Photon Control is a leader in the semiconductor industry, and many Fortune 500 companies come to us for our optical positioning and temperature sensor expertise.

We custom engineer Optical Temperature and Positioning Sensors that are integrated into the fabrication tools that are used in semiconductor manufacturing. Our sensors are accurate and reliable over a wide range of temperatures helping our customers get the highest performance from their production equipment.

Our sensors are also immune to electromagnetic radiation that is present during the manufacturing process, ensuring dependable measurement readings time and time again.

Many of our temperature sensors, and spectrometers are used in the life sciences industry, in everything from hospital MRI machines to pharmaceutical testing equipment.

Our Life Science Temperature Measurement Systems feature our highest accuracy probes designed specifically for life science applications with a small form factor for unique applications.
