Photography Membership Photography Membership - $100

Photography Guidelines• Photographers are required to check in with Guest Services each visit.

• Respect our plants and habitats. Do not step in flower beds, pick flowers/leaves/nuts, climb trees or move outdoor furniture/garden containers.

Attaching materials to trees and plants is prohibited.

• Respect our visitors. A photography membership does not entitle the member exclusive use of any garden, collection or area of The Dawes Arboretum.

• Drone photography is prohibited.

• Outside props are prohibited (including but not limited to sofas and other furniture, farm animals, motorized vehicles, smoke bombs, paint and balloons).

• Attire for photo subjects must meet acceptable community standards. Public

changing rooms are not available.

• The Dawes Arboretum is not responsible for any loss or damage of equipment.

• Non-compliance to these rules may result in forfeiture of the annual membership fee and future photography privileges.

Other Member OptionsChestnut Club (Corporate Membership) – Call for pricing Corporations and organizations have an exclusive category of membership.  A membership card is supplied to the head of the organization and is valid for a 15 percent discount in the gift shop for items purchased on behalf of the organization.  Please contact the Development Office at development@dawesarb.org or 800.44.DAWES for pricing and a full list of Chestnut Club benefits. 

Recurring Membership – Call for pricing Pay your Beech and higher level membership dues in convenient monthly instalments (via credit card only). Please contact the Development Office at development@dawesarb.org or 800.44.DAWES for more information and pricing. 

Photography Membership – $100 Photographers, who use The Arboretum for business purposes (including photo shoots and nature photography), are required to purchase a photography membership. Photography memberships come with six shoot passes that include up to 10 people per shoot. Additional portrait sessions can be purchased at a discount. Please note, photography memberships do not receive the discounts and benefits available at other membership levels. This membership does include free admission for the named member. Basic Member DuesIndividual +1 Membership – $40 Enjoy The Arboretum with either a named guest or an unnamed guest. Basic membership benefits include free admission year-round, Nutshell newsletter, annual report, 15 percent discount at The Arboretum gift shop and plant sales, discounted programming, free catch-and-release fishing at Dawes Lake, discounts at select retailers and reciprocal benefits at more than 300 gardens in North America. Family Membership – $60 Basic membership benefits for up to six family members, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren and/or nanny.

Please note that Family memberships are intended for families only.  Organizations, clubs and businesses must join the Chestnut Club.

Supporting Member OptionsBuckeye – $100 Family membership benefits plus one free plant at the Spring Plant Sale and an invitation to the Spring Plant Sale Preview. 

Beech – $250 Buckeye level benefits plus an invitation to an exclusive event and recognition in The Arboretum’s annual report. 

Sycamore – $500 Beech level benefits plus a facility rental discount. Call for details.

Bur Oak – $1,000 Sycamore level benefits plus an invitation to an annual reception with the Executive Director and Board of Trustees.
