shows the close proximity of each
character. Also emphasises the
attitude and comedy factor of the
middle character (Stephen)

But dim enough to portray the
dimness of a lift.

depicts the characters emotion. This
shot shows the character’s playing
‘cool’ act.

Camera Angle – Wide Shot- The camera’s
primary focus is the centre (the character)
but the Wide Shot also allows the us to
dictate mis-en- secne. Such as the
characters lack of clothes and the
cluttered background

and attitude.

– zooming into the ID card.

zoomed in as previous character. Less
zoom = more confidence depicted and
collar signifies the conventional
element of charm.

all the conventional interviews take
place.
Camera Angle- Wide two shot- Shot
allows main elements of the mis-en-
scene to be depicted. Firstly, Oscar,
clearly dressed to impressed. This
developed with the candles. Only
the back of the women creates the
conventional mockumentary shot.
As it demonstrates the main focus
on Oscar.

Lighting – reasonably dim, to
portray the romantic meal.

angle instantly highlights the posture
and costume of the character. Thus
providing comedy as the boundaries are
subverted.
