Within the recent history of elections there has been an increasing amount of political signage. This large amount of propaganda follows recent elections as it grows in size and also in pollution. This campaign signage is making its way into local landfills and trash facilities. The problem is becoming an even larger issue with the overuse and abuse of signage leading up to elections. Year by year this system becomes increasingly overbearing. The overuse of signage speaks to the public view of the candidates and what they represent. Their message becomes jaded when part of their campaign is to clean up the streets, and a large amount of the clutter in the streets is from their campaign.
