In the marriage relationship, faithfulness is not recommended, it is required; it is not advisable, it is indispensable. Likewise in the relationship between man and God. Faithfulness is required (1 Cor. 4:2, Revelation 2:10) So, with that in mind, let us each ask ourselves a few questions as we set about the all- important task of self-examination (2 Cor. 13:5). Are We Faithful?

We all understand that there are areas of life in which faithfulness is not an option—it is

an absolute requirement. It is essential. For example: marriage. Is there a woman any-

where who would marry a man who promised to be faithful sometimes or even most of the

time? Would that ever be good enough? Of course not! In the marriage relationship,

faithfulness is not recommended, it is required; it is not advisable, it is indispensable.

Likewise in the relationship between man and God. Faithfulness is required (1 Cor. 4:2,

Revelation 2:10)

So, with that in mind, let us each ask ourselves a few questions as we set about the all-

important task of self-examination (2 Cor. 13:5).

ARE WE FAITHFUL IN WORSHIP ATTENDANCE? We have heard or should

have, the admonition of Hebrews 10:25 to not forsake assembling together. We

everything give thanks (1 Thess. 5:17-18). Prayer is par t of our Chr istian ar -

prayer (Matt. 6:5-13).

ARE WE FAITHFUL IN SOUL WINNING? We know the terms of the Great Com-

(Matt. 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-16). The gospel (1 Cor. 15:1-4) is the power of

purpose in our heart-- and cheerfully (2 Cor. 9:6-7). Do we examine our giving I
