Phalaenopsis Stem Propagations

Phal. Andalusia 'Eugene Maduro' AM/AOS

(Aruba x violacea) An absolutely incredible flower! Large and full

formed for the cross, the flowers are brilliant, bright purple

with heavy substance. This plant is a phenomenal breeder of purple

flowers and has produced 10 awarded progeny for us plus two AQs.

Natural Spread 6.5 cm. Old spikes will rebloom. Only one blooming

size plant. $200

Phal. bellina v. Murtoniana ‘Leprechaun’ AM/CBR/CCM/AOS

(Species) Note that we are not taxonomists and are relying on the

taxonomic work previously performed and required to receive an

AOS award. This is the rare murtoniana form of the species. This

species is now classified as Phal. bellina, but was awarded as Phal.

violacea. When this plant received its CCM, it carried 19 flowers

and 15 buds on 6 spikes. It’s a very floriferous plant! Natural

spread 5.5. Blooming size. $300

Phal. Ching Her Champion ‘Phoenix Sunspots’ HCC/AOS

(Salu Peoker x Champion Plus) Awarded 75 points on 5/16/16 with 9

flowers on one spike and is the only awarded cultivar of the cross.

Phal. Cordova ‘Orchidphile’ AM/AOS

(Golden Buddha x Zuma Garnet) This is a fantastic red that

is the same color on the back of the flower as the front.

Stem props of this plant were originally priced at $750 and

we’re offering it for 1/10th of that. Blooming size $75

Phal. Dotty Woodson ‘Claudette’ HCC/AOS

(Tabasco Tex x George Vasquez) This is one of only two awarded

cultivars and in our opinion it’s the better of the two. When

awarded it had 6 flowers and 5 buds on two spikes. It has bred one

awarded progeny for us and we are continuing to use it in our

breeding program. Old spikes will rebloom. Fragrant. Natural spread

5.1 cm. Blooming size. Price reduced – was $200, now $150.

Phal. Double Garnet ‘Ruby Glow’

(Zuma Garnet x Straits Garnet) A very flat, solid red flower. The

color on the back of the flower is the same as the red on the front.

Only one blooming size plant. $75

Phal. Giant Passion ‘OK II’ HCC/AOS

(Hannover Passion x gigantea) Greenish-yellow flowers with heavy

red barring and full form. At the time of award this plant carried

21 flowers on four spikes. Natural spread 4.9 cm. Blooming size

plants $100.

Phal. Guadalupe Pineda ‘Blood Orange’ HCC/AOS

(bellina x amboinensis) An excellent example of this primary hybrid

with good color plus fragrance. Natural spread 4.7 cm. $150

Phal. I-Hsin Sunflower ‘M’ AM/AOS

(Taipei Gold x brother Nugget) A fantastic yellow that has

produced 3 awarded progeny for us. This plant has a tendency to

produce basal keikis for us and can make an exceptional specimen

plant. Natural spread 7.5 cm. Blooming size. $35

Phal.Jacque Hodges ‘red Sun’ HCC/AOS

(Venimp x Joy Spring Canary) A very nice red/fuschia flower with

pleasant fragrance. At this time, this is the only awarded progeny

of Joy Spring Canary and we are using it in our breeding program.

Natural spread 5.9cm. Only one plant. $200

Phal. Malibu Imp ‘Anna Mae’ AM/AOS

(amboinensis x Luedde-Violacea) This is an old and hard to find

cultivar of a cross that has been used to breed some great crosses.

We’ve used this plant in our breeding program over a period of many

years and it has produced awarded progeny for us. The color, even

by today’s standards, is excellent. Natural spread 5.0 cm. Limited.

Phal. Memoria David Goo ‘Desert Dawn’

(Sweet Memory x Zuma Garnet) This is a very fine cultivar from

the cross and the most yellow. Blooming size. $75

Phal. Okay Petit Hot ‘Phoenix Beauty’

(venosa x Dotty Woodson) This is our favorite cultivar from our

remake of the cross. The plant grows well and the flowers are very

flat and fragrant. $175

Phal. Phoenix Canary ‘Trinity’ AM/AOS

(Yungho Gelb Canary x Penang Girl) This is from our AQ

cross that has so far received 3 AMs and one HCC. The

flowers have a strong, sweet, lemon-citrus fragrance.

Natural spread 5.3 cm. Only 1 blooming size plant. $200

Phal. Phoenix Gem ‘Bold Beauty’

(Dotty Woodson x Penang Girl) This is one of our favorites from

the cross. The flowers have unusual coloration and are fragrant.

Phal. Phoenix Girl ‘Blushing’

(Guadalupe Pineda x Penang Girl) A colorful and fragrant form of

the cross. Blooming size. $100

Phal. Phoenix Imp ‘Garnet Gold’

(Venimp x Penang Girl) This plant tends to produce basal keikis, so

can make a great fragrant, specimen plant. Blooming size. Single

growth plant $50. Multiple growth plant. $75.

Phal. Phoenix Imp ‘Trinity’ AM/AOS

(Venimp x Penang Girl) This is our favorite cultivar from our cross

and it received an 80 point AM/AOS on 3/5/16 in Tucson, AZ. This

plant represents a new type of breeding that I call multifloral

novelty. The goal in this type of breeding is to produce brightly

colored, fragrant novelties that will carry 15-20 or more

flowers/buds on a fully mature plant. When awarded it carried 7

flowers and 6 buds on two branched spikes plus 10 buds on two

immature branched spikes. Natural Spread 5.3cm. Fragrant and

blooming size. $200

Phoenix Passion ‘Dark Beauty’ AM/AOS

(Hannover Passion x Penang Girl) This plant received an 80 point

AM/AOS on 3/4/17 and was featured in an article I wrote about

red breeding that appeared in October 2017 Phalaenopsis

Supplement to ORCHIDS magazine. The flowers are long-lasting and

highly fragrant. The color of this flower is an unusual maroon-red

and is the only solid red flower from the cross. Natural spread 5.5

cm. Only one blooming size plant $200.

Phal. Phoenix Star ‘Mahogany’

(venosa x Arizona Garnet) The color of this flower is an unusual

red-brown that is more brown when bloomed in hot weather and

more red when bloomed in cool weather. It’s a very flat, nicely

shaped flower. Fragrant. Only one blooming size plant. $175

Phal. Phoenix Sun ‘Yellow Beauty’ CCM/AOS

(I-Hsin Sunflower x Ame Takasaki) This plant has beautiful yellow

flowers with fine red bars centrally. It received and 84 point CCM

in April 2016 with 38 flowers and one bud on 5 spikes. Under our

conditions, the plant readily makes basal keikis and we are offering

basal keikis (not stem props) from the original plant. $50

Phal. Phoenix Sun ‘Yellow Beauty’ CCM/AOS

This photo shows the plant in full bloom.

Phal.Star of Dixie ‘Philly’ HCC/OS

(Tabasco Tex x Golden Pride) This cultivar is one of only two

awarded cultivars from this cross and has the highest point score

(79 points). It’s a large flower with a natural spread of 6.1. Only one

near blooming size plant. $125

Phal. Sweet Revenge ‘Hot Lips’ AM/AOS

(Sara Lee x Deventeriana) This plant grows and blooms well and is

very fertile as both a pod and pollen parent. We are using this plant

in our breeding program for the beautiful fine spots that it passes

to its progeny. Natural Spread 7.0 cm. $40

Phal Sweet Trinity ‘Phoenix Sunrise’

(Veninp x bellina) This is the finest cultivar from our first

generation multifloral novelty cross. Mature plants are capable of

carrying 15-20 or more flowers and buds. This plant is extremely

high quality and unique. We believe it is probably the best plant to

be produced from our breeding, which goes back more than 30

years. We are using it in our breeding program and it has produced

2 awarded progeny so far (both AMs). Blooming size. $495

Phal Sweet Trinity ‘Phoenix Sunrise’

The photo shows a plant with one branched spike with 8 flowers and

5 buds.

Phal. Tying Shin Cupid ‘Maria Teresa’ AM/AOS

(Sogo Lawrence x Kuntrarti Rarashati) This is wonderful multifloral.

Phal. Tying Shin Forever Love ‘Golden Beauty’ FCC/AOS

(Sogo Lawrence x Tying Shin Cupid) A floriferous plant with burnt

orange flowers. This plant carried 67 flowers and 4 buds when

awarded. This plant was the pollen aren’t of uour cross Phal. Peggy

Tauscher that received 2 HCCs and an AQ on 4/6/19. Natural

Spread 4.6 cm. Blooming size. $75

Phal. Venimp ‘Sedona #11’ CCE/AOS

(venosa x Malibu Imp) When awarded this plant had 64 flowers and

21 buds on 11 spikes. It tends to produce basal keikis and can be

grown into a huge specimen plant. We are using this plant in our

multifloral novelty breeding program with good results and it has

produced five awarded progeny for us so far. Old spikes will

rebloom. Natural Spread 4.0 cm. Fragrant. Blooming size keiki. $150

‘Golden Beauty’ FCC/AOS) We received an AQ on this cross on

4/6/19. The quality and consistency is as good as we’ve ever seen

and so far it looks like about every other plant bloomed has

award potential. We have just a few unbloomed seedlings in 3

inch pots for $75 each. Award paperwork available on request.

This strain should be tetraploid. The standard discount applies

to these unbloomed seedlings.

awarded plant from our AQ cross that has so far received 3

AMs and 2 HCCs. The flowers have a nice, sweet fragrance.

Natural spread 6.5 cm., which is the largest flower awarded so

far. $750

Phal. Phoenix Imp #3

(Venimp x Penang Girl) Another very nice cultivar from our

multifloral novelty cross with concentric brown bars. This plant

includes the original plant with basal keiki plus a separately

potted, blooming size basal keiki. Was $150 now $125

Phal. Phoenix Passion ‘Desert Sun’ HCC/AOS

(Hannover Passion x Penang Girl) This plant received a 79 point

HCC on 3/2/19 in Tucson, AZ with 3 flowers and one bud on two

spikes. This is a large flower for the breeding with a natural

spread was 6.2 cm. It’s the only solid yellow from the cross and

has a very nice sweet fragrance. I’m very confident that this

could be upgraded to AM with a few more flowers. Award

paperwork available on request. $800

(Sogo Kaiulani x Phoenix Ruby) This is a very nice almost solid

magenta-red. This was treated with Colchicine in an effort to

create a tetraploid, but has not been tested to see if it was

successful. $100

ORDERING INFORMATION We grow our plants in sphagnum moss and usually ship in pot. Plants are shipped FOB Phoenix, within the

continental United States only. In order to assure that plants arrive in the best possible condition, shipping is

usually by FedEx overnight. Certain times of the year when weather is mild we can ship by Priority Mail. Due to

the implementation of “dimensional weights” by certain carriers we will quote shipping costs after we determine

the size of the shipment. If you have special shipping needs, please inquire. Your order will be shipped as soon as

possible after receipt of payment. We accept payment by PayPal, cashier’s check, money order and personal

check. We are not able to accept credit cards at this time and reserve the right to hold personal checks for up

to two weeks before shipping.
