HOLIDAY SPECIALS pg.9, pg.17

Welcome Phoenix Friends to our latest brochure taking us through the festive season.

As you all must be aware, the Phoenix has recently gone through some uncertain times regarding our future remaining as an independent cinema.

During this time the support from the community has been overwhelming, and the management team, the staff and I would like to say a big thank you. It has meant so very much to us all.

We have some great family entertainment for you this festive season. The highly anticipated Mary Poppins Returns arrives with an all-star cast and guarantees to be practically perfect in every way (pg.5), whilst Clara’s search for a magical key leads her to a mysterious parallel world in Disney’s re-imagining of The Nutcracker classic. (pg.9)

2019 is already shaping up to be a good year for film, with Laurel and Hardy biopic Stan & Ollie (pg.7) and Margot Robbie’s transformative role as Elizabeth I in Mary Queen of Scots (pg.8) coming this January.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Phoenix this Christmas, perhaps with a warming mulled wine and a seasonal mince pie in our vibrant café bar before enjoying your film.

Have a wonderful holiday season and a Happy New Year from us all at the Phoenix.
