DefinitionDALI Command LumiSense is aluminaire-based control systemdesigned to be integrated intoluminaires in order to add controlfunctions with no additionalinstallation wiring.The luminairemust be equipped with a DALI-(Digital Addressable LightingInterface-) compatible ballast.

DescriptionThe heart of the system is aDALI-compatible controller andsensor that contains a movementdetector, light sensor and infraredreceiver in addition to the DALIcontroller.The control response(lighting effect) from thesesensors can be altered using aninfrared programming tool to suitthe needs of the user. In addition,the end-user can manually adjustlighting levels using a simple two-button infrared transmitter.

ApplicationsThe main application forLumiSense luminaires is in officesrequiring adjustable and flexiblelighting control with automaticenergy saving. LumiSense is idealfor refurbishment as it can beinstalled without changing oradding to existing wiring. It is alsoa low installation cost option fornew lighting schemes.
