2013 GOSPEL WORK RESULT

Greetings in the name of Christ!

April 5, 2013 – GOSPEL MEETING AT TIBOLI, SOUTH COTABATO

I am greatly thankful to God the Father through Christ the Son for it is a great honor being a servant in the Lord’s work. I would love to share to you the result of our “Preaching Class” that we keep on doing at Kyumad church of Christ Maasim Sarangani Province every Saturday from June to December last 2013. We discussed so many topics such as “How to Established Bible Authority” using the Booklet of Roy E. Cogdill as it is a very excellent one, and also by Robert Harkrider booklets “Basic Bible Doctrine” and many more topics. Three to six lessons per Saturday we studied in “Preaching Class” aside from other lessons that I teach to them in private sharing. As I see to their eyes and feel in their hearts their dedication in knowing the “Bible”.

Last Saturday, July 20, 2013 – In our class there is one young man who the first time attend, accepted the invitation to be baptized right after Brother Rommel Dazon finished in lecture. I have the privileged to immerse him to Christ by Baptism.

I. The following day, Lord’s day, July 21, 2013 – As Brother Rommel Dazon already went back home to GenSan right after our “Preaching Class” on Saturday, I stayed with the brethren at Kyumad where I slept over night and doing private Bible sharing to them such as this one: Brother Jun Balunto and Brother Julius Sukin and also evening of that day, we had a very wonderful Home Bible Study at the house of the two young lady who sit-in in our class.

That day, early in the morning, I along with Brother Julius Sukin and Brother Gorio Pelon (both a faithful gospel preachers of our Lord) went from Kyumad to Balak Sawa part also of Barangay Amsipit, Maasim Sarangani Province to preach in the new congregation that was established. Those who were already brethren and sisters, who entered already the kingdom of Christ, the church by baptism with their relatives waited us happily to join with us in worshipping God that day. I preached a sermon “Jesus Christ: The End of the Law of Moses” and using a chart “Why Are There So Many Churches” by Michael Shank. A very excellent chart that is much recommended to everyone.

Preaching Time

Right after our worship, when we extend an invitation for baptism, there were many of them. Thus, we then went to the water. The water is at least 3 kilometers from the venue thus we need to hike. Imagine, brethren and sisters, walking many kilometers so that you will be baptized into Christ. I am thankful that they rode me at the back of a horse with one helping me because I can’t able to walk many kilometers in the reason of my weak health. Due of difficulty in the road, we can’t use a motorcycle from the Balak Sawa going to the river bank.

As we went back to Balak Sawa from the river bank, these newly baptized gladly served us coffee with cassava food. They welcome me so much with their preacher, Brother Gorio Pelon.

Brother, thank you so much for your continues prayers and support for in the Philippine work in the Lord. Take care. I love you so much. All of you have a share in the work I am doing as gospel preacher of our Lord Jesus Christ who is blessed always.

I came back from the two hospitals here to be admitted supposedly but because

of my poverty that I can't afford to pay for down payment for the room then I

was not allowed. There was no vacant ward room and the only available was

Semi-Private Room and Private Room, but they need me to pay for down payment.

The Phil health what I have which is in the name of mom is Indigent which

means just for WARD ROOM only. Thanks be always to God that at this very

moment, my health is now better. There was a skin disease that strike upon my

neck that it brings fever and I could hardly move my head, then it kept on

scratching me.
