BONDYING

Bondying (1954)- Stars Fred Montilla, Lolita Rodriguez, Chichay & Tolindoy, Gregorio Ticman, Rebecca del Rio, Eddie Garcia, Jose de Villa/ Directed by Jose de Villa/ Serialized in Pilipino Komiks by Mars Ravelo

Bondyingis acomic bookcharacter created byFilipinographic novelistMars Ravelo. He is a big person who is still considered a baby.

In 1954,Fred Montillaplayed Bondying in the first movie adaptation of the same title. After the movie became a hit, a sequel titledTatay na si Bondyingwas released in 1955. In 1973, actorJay Ilaganplayed the role inAto ti Bondying. In 1988, there was a movie about Bondying produced by Viva Films entitledThe Little Big Boy.[1]The title role of Bondying was performed by veteran comedianJimmy Santos, although the film later ends with the title character officially maturing for his age.Bondying: The Little Big Boywas abox officehit in the Philippines.

Bondyingis a lovablekomikscharacter created byMars Raveloin 1951 inTagalog KlasiksKomiks. The originalBondyingseries was illustrated byElpidio Torres.

Bondying is a full-grown man who still dresses and talks like a baby. He is always dressed in polka-dotted baby dress and always carries a big bottle of milk. He is very smart, though, and can do and think things that a normal man can find difficult.

Bondying is reared by his grandparents. His grandmother is especially fond of him, treating him like a baby even when he was already fully grown up. His grandfather was not so pleased though, although he can't complain much since he was a henpecked husband.

There had been several sequels ofBondyinginkomiks. In 1968, a new komiks title was bornBondying Komeex, starring of course, Bondying, in a new adventure where he becameJames Bond-ying.

Bondying was adapted into a movie in 1954 starring matinee idol Fred Montilla in the title role. It was a blockbuster movie and for a time, Montilla was Bondying to fans. In the 1980s, actor Jimmy Santos played the role although somewhat unsuccessfully and lacking the appeal of Montilla's Bondying. For most people, Montilla is still the best Bondying.
