Phil Reale was not just avid about his scholastic career, but knew from a young age that the mind can only stay as sharp as the body, and vice versa. During his time in high school, Phil became actively involved in several scholastic events, including becoming a member of their basketball and football team, all while maintaining an excellent GPA. Not stopping there, Phil would also demonstrate strong leadership skills and a natural drive, determination, and talent that made him an excellent candidate for team captain. Phil would go on to be captain of both his high school basketball and football team, all while keeping his social and academic life balanced, no easy feat, especially during years of adolescence. Phil Reale: The Athlete
Phil Reale was not just avid about his scholastic career, but knew from a young age that the mind can only stay as sharp as the body, and vice versa. Phil Reale: A Political Player
Phil Reale's educational background, as well as his many roles as a leader and trend setter both in his youth and subsequent career made politics a natural and simple transition for Phil. With Phil's discipline, no nonsense work ethic, and an ambition only dwarfed by his knowledge and talent, Phil would soon find himself becoming a primary player in West Virginia politics. During the 1990's Phil was appointed to the WV College System Board of Directors and was a two time chairperson of the organization. This appointment was awarded after a tenure-ship with Governor Gaston Caperton of West Virginia.
Phil Reale: A Distinguished Career
Phil Reale has had the luxury of enjoying a long and impressive career in law, one where he has received quite a few noteworthy accolades and recognition along the way. For example, in 2011, Phil was awarded one of the most prestigious accolades one can acquire. Phil was named one of the Best Lawyers in America for the years of 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014, an award that Phil says has been a true honor, as he knew it was one that was not handed out indiscriminately. . Phil also won the Distinguished West Virginian Award, the highest award the state government can give to a citizen. Phil won this award not once, but twice, in 1990 and 95.
Phil Reale: A Family Man
Phil Reale knows that family is one of the most important aspects of an individual's life, and does not take for granted that he has been blessed with a loving one. Phil says that life in a high stress environment can often be grueling and demanding, and though it is also equally rewarding, it is important not to get completely lost in your work. One must make time to spend with those you love. This is precisely what Phil does during his off time, is spend it with his loving wife and two sons.
