WE SALUTE YOUR ENERGY.
We are proud to support the PHI Community Foundation 11th Annual Pepco Golf & Tennis Classic.
Pepco, 2016
GREETINGS FROM THE PRESIDENT
As we celebrate the 11th annual PHI Community Foundation Pepco Golf & Tennis Classic, I approach this years event with enormous gratitude for the generous support that you have provided. Your sustained giving has allowed us to exceed $2.5 million in donations to help limited-income individuals and families throughout the Washington metropolitan region meet their energy needs. I want to extend my personal thanks to each and every one of you for your participation and support of such a wonderful and meaningful experience.
As I refect upon Pepcos 120 year history, the act of giving back to the communities we serve is a critical part of who we are. To that end, we want to recognize and honor the signifcant role that corporate contributors play in ensuring that those who are less fortunate have the support they need and deserve to live in a safe and healthy environment. While our nation and the region continue to make gains in its overall economic recovery, we are acutely aware that some ind ividuals are unfortunately challenged in their pursuit of a stable quality of life for themselves and their families. T his annual fundraising event has and continues to provide the support that is needed to help them rebound from adverse economic circumstances, often beyond their control.
We are motivated by the focus, commitment and ded ication of the Greater Washington Urban League (District of Columbia), Interfaith Works (Montgomery County) and Marys Center (Prince Georges County) in providing targeted and much needed assistance to those who are less fortunate. Thank you for your partnership!
To achieve the optimal level of success, your collaboration and partnership are critical. Our non-proft partners could not deliver the valuable services they provide without you our corporate partners. We thank you for choosing us, and thank you for your unwavering generosity. As noted last year, we all have choices as there are a host of options for giving and many are quite laudable. You have chosen this cause, and we appreciate that you continue to stand with us.
We hope you had a very memorable and rewarding experience today at The Woodmore Country Club. I look forward to our continued collaboration as we embark each year to make the next event even greater.
Sincerely,
Donna M. Cooper

Substations that can hide in a city?
Certainly.
Bustling urban centers need efficient and reliable electricity, but have little room to accommodate large electrical installations. ABBs Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) technology can shrink the size of an electrical substation by as much as 70 percent, so it can be located in the midst of cities and in other space-restricted areas, sometimes even indoors or underground, minimizing environmental impact. We offer a range of products, systems and services for power generation, transmission and distribution to help increase power capacity, enhance grid reliability, improve energy efficiency and lower environmental impact. With a 125 year heritage of technology innovation ABB continues to shape the grid of the future. For more information please visit us at www.abb.com.
