SPACE A

In the heart of historic Old Montreal, the PHI experience begins at our main entrance. The hall leads to Space A, our 380-capacity performance venue that can host a variety of events, from film premieres to live music.

LE RHINOCÉROS

Le Rhinocéros like every thing else at the PHI Centre was conceived to be flexible. You could use it as a waiting room, work space, reading room or meeting place.

And naturally, Le Rhinocéros is wired. Even more, it's Wi-PHI.

RESTAURANTIn development

In our final phase of development, the ground floor will also include a fully licensed restaurant, offering fresh and premium local products. An ideal place for unwinding, socializing and networking.

SPACE B AND SPACE C

Divided into two areas, the second floor is devoted to digital/immersive arts and innovative filmmaking.

A stunning realization, the double-height Space B seats 94 in cinema configuration and up to 150 standing. Used for film events, it easily doubles as a sound stage and production facility.

It boasts a powerful 2K digital projector and hi-fi system. Active 3D technology for an augmented and interactive cinematic experience.

Space C is vast and serves as the main exhibition hall. As it is highly adaptable, it also accommodates resident artists who then exhibit their work on the premises.

The PHI Centre is designed to preserve the aural integrity of all works presented and produced. As such, Space C is always free of the sounds coming from other spaces, such as Space B. In fact, the whole Centre was built to provide guests, visitors and artists with an optimal acoustic environment.
