Press Release July 10, 2011 Phenomenal Increase of Army Applicants from Davao Oriental Mati City, Davao Oriental - Respo ndi ng to the call of a cha ll eng ing profession and the prestige of serving the country in the noblest manner with stable employment, a to tal of 1222 army aspirants registered for the Philippine Army Apti tude Test Ba tte ry (PAATB) held in Dava o Oriental State College of Science and Tech nolog y in Mati Ci ty on 10 Jul y 2011. Du ri ng the prescr eeni ng of the ap pl ican ts, they were amazed by the exce ll en t showmanship of the 10th Infantry Division (10ID) Marching Band showcasing their outstanding musical pie ces with cho reographed ma rch and danc e drills. The applic ants also got the chance to interact with the soldiers from 701st Infantry Brigade, 28th & 67th Infantry Battalions and teams from 2nd Scout Ranger Battalion and 4th Communication & Information Company, 10th CMO Battalion. “In behalf of the Commander of the 10ID, Major General Jorge V Segovia, we woul d li ke to ext end our gr ati tud e to the administration of the Davao Oriental State Coll ege of Sci ence and Tec hnolo gy for prov idin g us the ven ue for this acti vity. It al lowe d us to accomodate more Ar my ap pl ican ts fr om Davao Or iental ,” Co l Leonido Bongcawil, 701st Infantry Brigade Commande r said . The 1 104th C ommunity Defense Center and ROTC officers of the said school also actively participated in this activity. He al so ackn owledged the effo rts of the media friends for broadcasting the details of the PAATB on-air. A number of Coll ege institu tio ns al so welcomed the soldiers fro m 701st Bri gad e to conduct informatio n awareness reg arding the Army recru itment. Col Bongcaw il added that the Provincial Governor of Davao Oriental Hon. Corazon Nuñez Malanyaon is ever supportive to her people that she even provided free refreshments to the applicants and the facilitators and for allowing the exam registration at the Capitol lobby. Ltc Ferdinand Lazaro Budeng, the Assistant Chief of Staff for Personnel (G1, 10ID) also announced that exam results will be available after three weeks and applicants may contact 09175761979 for the results. Phenomenal Increase of Army Applicants from Davao Oriental 

Mati City, Davao Oriental -

Responding to the call of a challenging

profession and the prestige of serving thecountry in the noblest manner with stable

employment, a total of 1222 army

aspirants registered for the Philippine Army

Aptitude Test Battery (PAATB) held in

Davao Oriental State College of Science

and Technology in Mati City on 10 July

2011.

During the prescreening of the applicants, they were amazed by the excellentshowmanship of the 10th Infantry Division (10ID) Marching Band showcasing their outstanding

musical pieces with choreographed march and dance drills. The applicants also got the chanceto interact with the soldiers from 701st Infantry Brigade, 28th & 67th Infantry Battalions andteams from 2nd Scout Ranger Battalion and 4th Communication & Information Company, 10thCMO Battalion.
