PHENOLOGY IN SLOVENIA
Maintain the tradition of phenological observations
43 phenology stations (13 stations less than in 2005)
Working on renewal of the density of the network (youngerand professonal observers, recently arranging 4 new stations, one 1250 m above see level)
Providing data for research, international BVOC measurments in the phenological garden

May 28, 2014 promotion event for public(foresters, schools, faculties, arcticles published in newspapers )
ACTIVITIES ON PROMOTION OF PHENOLOGYInternational phenological garden (IPG 55)
International phenological garden –remarkable speciality of the municipal park Tivoli in Ljubljana
Renowation of equipment of the phenologicalgardens(information boards, plantidentification panels, braille )
International phenological garden (IPG 55) -badly wounded
Slovenia was seriously affected by black ice in February, 2014
Observation trees in IPG - badly wounded – 4 tree species were lost
Arborists saved those which survived
Substitutional plants were planted in early spring 2015
