There has never been a more exciting time to come back to your old Kentucky home. The UK College of Pharmacy has planned a fun-filled Spring Weekend that will charge your professional batteries while allowing you to let your hair down alongside fellow members

of the Big Blue Nation.

The College will partner with pharmacy organizations throughout the Commonwealth to host the second annual Advancing Pharmacy Practice in Kentucky Summit. Last year’s summit spawned the Advancing Pharmacy Practice Coalition, and this year’s event promises to be just as exciting.

This may be the most exciting time for UK football in that program’s proud history. We hope you join

the College to tailgate at the annual Blue-White football game.

When it comes to spring in central Kentucky, Keeneland is the place to be. Join us in the Lexington and Kentucky rooms for a wonderful spring afternoon of horse racing and fellowship.

UK College of Pharmacy Scholarship and Awards Banquet6:30 – 8:30 p.m. The Signature ClubThe UK College of Pharmacy will recognize our scholarship recipients and student and faculty award winners with this invitation-only annual event.

Advancing Pharmacy Practice in Kentucky Summit 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. UK College of Pharmacy, 789 S. Limestone - $25 This is a follow-up to last year’s wildly successful “Summit to Chart the Future of Pharmacy in Kentucky.” Practitioners and health care leaders from across the state decided to bring together everyone again in 2013 to build upon the mo-mentum that was generated at last year’s summit.

Blue/White Football Game Tailgate5 – 7 p.m. Commonwealth Stadium Red Lot near Gate 4 – $8 per person, $5 for UK Alumni Association membersThe UK College of Pharmacy and the UK Alumni Association are sponsoring this family-friendly party prior to the most highly-anticipated spring football game in UK history. Come cheer on new Coach Mark Stoops and the team, enjoy some great food, music and giveaways.

Blue/White Game7:00 p.m. Commonwealth Stadium – Admission is Free on a first-come, first-served basisNew Head Coach Mark Stoops will take part in his first Annual Blue/White scrimmage at Commonwealth Stadium.

Day at the RacesGates open at 11 a.m. Keeneland Race Course – $50 per personEnjoy a buffet lunch in the Lexington and Kentucky rooms (facing the track). Doors open at 11 a.m. and buffet is from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 each (limited quantity available) and include admission to the track and lunch. Pre-registration by March 29th is required with tickets available on a first-come, first-reserved basis. Dress is coat and tie for men. No denim.
