MYTIGATE is a state-of-the-art, fully digital, and free of charge platform that offers all supply chain partners (e.g. transport companies, warehouses, and handling agents) a means to demonstrate their compliance with good distribution practice guidelines and to showcase their capabilities directly to pharmaceutical manufacturers.

INTRODUCTION TO MYTIGATE
Since the introduction of the EU GDP Guidelines in 2013, pharma companies are required to assure quality throughout their supply chain and to conduct a risk-based selection process for their transport partners. Until now, however, many have been unable to meet these requirements.
Many pharmaceutical companies have tried to approach their supply chain partners with individual questionnaires, causing additional administrative work on the supply chain partners’ side. MYTIGATE – being an innovative, web-based service – is on track to become a new industry standard, showcasing supply chain partners’ compliance, capabilities, and certificates, and allowing pharma companies to select pharma-specific services of those supply chain partners that offer the highest quality and lowest risk.
Supply chain partners can present their different services by displaying related infrastructural and operational capabilities, certificates awarded, and additional commercial product details (example: brochures). This information is coupled with our state-of-the-art mathematical risk modelling and real-life quality data (example: temperature data loggers), making it possible to conduct a reliable, digital lane risk assessment.
With our eight roles covering all possible transport services (Road, Air, Sea, Airline Handling, Tarmac Handling, Port Terminal Operators, Warehouses, and Forwarding Services), MYTIGATE aims to be the driver for innovation and end-to-end visibility in pharma logistics.
The MYTIGATE risk management platform is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) that was co-created with the pharma industry, working hand in hand with global forwarders and supply chain partners to plan, monitor, and improve the quality of pharma shipments in a legally compliant and safe manner.

MYTIGATE GmbH is based in the Rhine-/Main area, yet by embracing a fully digital work environment, our international team spans multiple countries including Canada, Germany, Russia, and Turkey. Our offi ce is located in the House of Logistics and Mobility (HOLM) in Frankfurt, Germany. MYTIGATE commenced operations in April 2020 in order to commercialise the results of the research project „Pharma Supply Chain Risk Management“. This project started in 2017 and was funded by the LOEWE3 innovation fund of the state of Hesse in Germany and managed by Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences.
Working hand in hand with industry leaders and academic institutes, our vision is to become the quality and sustainability standard for both the pharma and the forwarder industry. To achieve this vision, we bring together the scientifi c collaborative efforts of the different parties involved, connecting academic and research knowledge with the industry.
