BackgroundP&G as multinational company with many differentbrands and product types faces a high number ofbusiness processes; zooming in on our devicesconsumer products – power oral care and powergrooming – we are entering a learning path whichwill bring us to smart, connected devices; in shortwe are entering the IoT market. In order to offer ajoint learning space, we are currently enlarging theKronberg-based makerspace. The “enhancedMakerspace” is this location for learning,prototyping, experimenting.

Your Area of ResponsibilityWe are looking for an intern to run the makerspacestartup operation. This means working on the ITinfrastructure, organize and manage the materialsstock, establish a resource management and planningprocess and lay the foundations of a makers’community.

Your tasks

Operate and maintain Makerspaceinfrastructure, offer end user support (MakeBotprinter, BBDUal printers, 3d CAD)

Establish print server infrastructure to run the 3dprinters (Linux, RPi, JavaScript)

Xx Build Dashboard of printer status, leverage(JavaScript, Dashing.io, OrientDB)

Establish processes to manage the resources(room scheduling, support and maintenance,materials)

Establish ordering process for 3D printing

Build community intranet page, link with othermaker spaces in P&G

Create German Makerspace community toensure continued demand and usage

Work on offerings for support, CAD-construction, community events andcommunication plan.
