SAKHALIN TECHNICAL TRAINING CENTRE (STTC)

Petrofac is an international service provider to the oil and gas production and processing industry.

Through our training and competency services we have delivered training to the oil and gas industry for over 35 years and have trained more than one million delegates. At Getenergy 2017 we won the award for ‘Learning Technology’ and were finalists for ‘Education and Training Provider of the Year’.

We identify where workforce competence can be enhanced and deliver training and development programmes to address any gaps. Our work ranges from the development of competence strategies to course delivery and the design, build and operation of technical training plants.

Services include:

At STTC we provide world-class training services to operators and contractors in oil and gas projects on Sakhalin island.

Through a wide range of facilities, we provide delegates with hands-on HSSE and technical training that replicates processes and equipment in a realistic, yet safe, environment to accelerate competency development.

As a result of our work, we have developed personnel to full compliance with international standards and Russian regulatory requirements, and helped meet the local demand for competent personnel who can compete internationally.
