Petition – Ratepayers for Barnard Street Sandhurst 20th September 1870 To the Mayor, Councillors of the Borough of Sandhurst. Gentlemen, We, the undersigned landowners and householders of Sutton Ward have respectfully to draw attention to the imperfect state of the roads in a portion of this ward our locality and request that steps may be taken to permanently form the road between Vine Street and New Chum in continuation of Barnard Street, or such steps as may be necessary to make it passable for vehicles &c.
