MOTION FOR TRANSCRIPTS AND TRANSCRIPT DIRECTIONS TO ILLINOIS STATE BOARD OF ELECTIONS

Pursuant to the Rules of Procedure Adopted by the State Board of Elections, July 6th, 2010

Sharon Meroni requests that the Illinois State Board of Elections immediately prepare and distribute to

all defendants the records for the Judicial Review by this Court of all cases in sequence:

10 SOEBGE: 524, 525, 526, 527, 528, 529, 530, 532, 533, 534, 535, 537, 539, 540, 541, 542, 543, 544,

545,546,547,548,551,552, and 558.

The information requested is to include the entire above mentioned candidate filing papers with the

exception of individual sheets containing the signatures of voters. Further, all correspondences between

the candidates and the Hearing Officer, candidates and any Board Members, and correspondences

between the Board Members amongst themselves, and/or with the Hearing Officer, Mr. Menzel; this

request for documents as specifically related to the above mentioned SOEBcase numbers only.

In addition, documents filed with the Board as part ofthe formal objection, review and subsequent

hearing in the above SOEBcases under Judicial Review.

In addition, records requested are to include transcripts from the July 6th and August s" Board meetings.

These transcripts are to include all transcripts related to the initial appearance for each of the related

cases, and the full transcripts from the discussion and subsequent adoption of the Rules of Procedure on

July 6th. The August s'" transcripts should include all related transcripts from the August 6th Board

meeting. (ISBEas SOEB in both instances)

That the State Board of Elections, having been duly served of these proceedings on August is" and

within its obligatory duty to act by request ofthe Plaintiff, (Rules of Procedure 15) will produce and

transmit these transcripts in person at the September 10th hearing; or if sooner - shall deliver the

requested documents in the same fashion that the Hearing Officer, Menzel delivered and received

official documents during the Hearing process.

That these records shall be prepared and filed according to the nature of these expedited proceedings.

The Petitioner so moves and prays the Court will approve this motion and other relief the Court deems

appropriate for these expedited proceedings.

MOTION FOR EXPEDITED JUDICIAL REVIEW

This Court is respectfully requested to expedite this Judicial Review. This Court should consider

expediting the schedule because 10lLC 5/10-10.1 requires the court to set the hearing of a petition for

judicial review 30 days after it is filed. This is an issue related to the ballot for the November 2010

General Election.

An expedited appeal is in the interests of all parties; and is the intent of the law

Most respectfully this Court is asked to hear this motion on Sept 10, 2010 and to expedite the Judicial

Review.
