RENTAL POLICY, DIRECTIONS TO ODR, RESERVATIONS

Reservations may be made up to 30 days in advance for equipment renal items,a nd are highly recommended on large items. Full Payment is due at the time of the reservation. Items $25.00 or more will have a $5.00 cancellation fee.

Cancellations outside of one week of pickup will receive a full refund, minus any cancellation fee. Cancellations within one week of pickup will be charged half of a daily rental in addition to the cancellation fee.

Cancellations within 24 hours will be charged one full day rental in addition to any cancellation fee. All equipment is checked out based on current availability. ODR is not responsible if equipment is not used for weather conditions or other circumstances that may prevent a customer from being able to use the equipment.

Ski/Snowboard Reservation PolicySki/snowboard rental reservations must be paid in full at the time the reservation is made. You are eligible for a 50% refund if you call and cancel your reservation at minimum 48 hours prior to reserve date. If rental equipment is reserved for a holiday weekend (Christmas, MLK, SnoFest, etc.) no refund is available. Rental reservations can be made up to two weeks in advance of the date the customer will be using the equipment.

Condition of EquipmentThoroughly inspect each item before leaving our facility. If the condition does not meet your satisfaction, simply ask any member of the Outdoor Recreation Team to replace it with a like item or have the loan receipt annotated to indicate the discrepancy. It will be assumed that any equipment checked out is in a serviceable condition unless noted on the receipt. Damage or loss of any item will be charged against the user for the cost to repair or replace that item, in accordance with applicable regulations. All equipment must be returned in its pre-rental condition, i.e. tents will be completely dry, food preparation and storage equipment should be well cleaned, ice & water coolers must be thoroughly dry, cleaned inside and out.

Late PolicyCustomer will be charged 50% rental fee if it is returned beyond the 24 hour rental period. After 36 hours, full rental fees will be assessed for each late day thereafter.

Directions to BLDG 640, where ODR is now locatedFrom the west gate, go past the first light (at Paine St.) and turn right at the next street (Otis st.). Pass through the intersection and turn left on Wurtsmith Ave. Bldg. 640 is located on the right, across the parking lot from the Thrift Shop. Bldg. 640 houses Outdoor Recreation, ITT, Leisure Travel and the Frame Shop.

Directions to RV Storage LotFrom the west gate, turn right at the first light (Paine st.). At the stop sign (Ent. Ave.) turn right. After the bio-engineering building on the left, turn left. Pass through the gate up ahead. The RV storage lot is located there.
