JANUARY AND FEBRUARY 2013 Hein studied Jazz Piano at the Conservatorium of Amsterdam. In 2007 he won the 2nd price at the prestigious Dutch Jazz Vocalist Concours. After joining Pete Philly and Perquisite and Hans Teeuwen’s band as a pianist, he released his debut album as a vocalist - ’Loose Fit’ - at the famous Blue Note label in 2010. Steve Kuhn's beautiful playing is adored all around the world. Especially in a trio setting, he shows just how great an artist he actually is. Buster Williams has played recorded and collabo- rated with virtually every major name in jazz over the years as well as appear- ing on many movie soundtracks, television commercials and numerous televi- sion shows. Joey Baron was a member of the Bill Frisell Band until '95. He also has performed and recorded with an impressive list of musicians in addi- tion to leading his own groups like ' Killer Joey'. Guillermo Klein is an Argentine pianist and composer known for his highly original harmonic and stylistic concepts. The Dutch composer and arranger Willem Friede has worked ao with the Metropole Orchestra, Pat Metheny, Paul Weller, Chaka Khan, Kenny Barron and Elvis Costello. He is the pianist and musical director of the New Cool Col-lective Big Band with whom he received an Edison (Dutch "Grammy") for the album "BIG".
