Temple University, Department of Biology, willoffer two courses in Developmental Biolgy ofMarine Invertebrates at the Marine BiologicalLaboratory, Wood Hole, Mass., 6 May to 2June 1974. One course (4 credits) will consist ofan intensive lecture and laboratory survey of thedevelopment of all major and some minor marineinvertebrate phyla from both descriptive and ex-perimental points of view. The second course (4credits) will provide an opportunity for guidedresearch on a problem in invertebrate develop-ment. The courses run simultaneously and theresearch course requires a background in in-vertebrate development equivalent to the surveycourse. Space for 15 in the survey course and Sin the research course. Tuition, $216 ($308 forout-of-state students) for each course; living costs,$52 per week.
