Written instructions (How To Use)

1. NECESSARY EQUIPMENT You will need the minimum requirements such as a basic computer (desk top or Laptop), regular inkjet printer that can be purchased at any office or electronic store and scissors. Artwork program: (Adobe Photoshop preferred or word/excel program) 2. IMAGE Make sure that the subject (person) face is directly faced forward. This will allow for a much more accurate 3D molding process. If the face is tilted (side profile, looking down or looking up) or has shadowing, the molding process will not be successful. Very important: face of the subject has to be straight and forward facing. 3. PICTURE SIZE SETTING We recommended you set your printer setting to 4 x 6” for all small, medium or large films. We offer 9 different molds (3 small mold, 3 medium molds and 3 large molds). *note that the small and medium size molds will use the same 4” x 4” print paper and clear protective film / Large size mold will us the 5” x 5” print paper and clear protective. Since each toy has a round opening and each opening might be slightly different form doll to doll, we suggest you give yourself a print allowance of 0.25” around the face. This will give you room for cutting allowance around the face of the picture. We always recommend a print test on regular paper (cut down to size). Practice makes perfect.

• Small face print area: 1”x1”, print whole picture to be larger than the recommended 1”x1”, example: 1.25”x 1.25”.

• Medium face print area: 2”x2”, print whole picture to be larger than the recommended 2”x2”,

example: 2.25”x2.25”.

• Large face print area: 3”x3”, print whole picture to be larger than the recommended 3”x3”, example: 3.25”x3.25”.

4. POSITIONING AND MOLDING OPERATIONS Once the image is printed, gently apply the clear protective film over it (squeegee out any remaining air bubble or crease with a credit card). The protective film protects the image from moisture and smearing. Take the picture and place it in between the flat plates which will be used during the molding process. Position the mold on the top of the vacuum all awhile aligning the mold to the reference red string which will help you guide both the mold and the image to each other. (Using the tip of the nose is always a good point of reference). Turn on the heating gun and heat the picture evenly in a circular motion for approx 30-40 seconds. Drop the picture down onto the mold and repeat the heating process for another 30 seconds. You will see the film slowly softened, once you are pleased with the result, turn off the heat and turn on the vacuum. If you are not pleased with the outcome, you can turn the heat back on. After few second, the film can be restored. Once a satisfactory shape is formed around the picture, remove it from the plates and cut along the edge into a circular shape and finally insert into the opening of the chosen doll.

Neither party shall be liable to the other in any manner whatsoever for any decisions, obligations, costs or expenses incurred, changes in business practices, plans, organization, products, services, or otherwise, based on either party’s decision to use or rely on any information exchanged under this Agreement.

7. If there is a breach or threatened breach of any provision of this Agreement, it is agreed and understood that www.3Ddoll.giddyuprides.com shall have no adequate remedy in money or other damages and accordingly shall be entitled to injunctive relief; provided however, no specification in this Agreement of any particular remedy shall be construed as a waiver or prohibition of any other remedies in the event of a breach or threatened breach of this Agreement.

8. This Agreement is made under and shall be construed according to the laws of the State of California. In the event that this agreement is breached, any and all disputes must be settled in a court of competent jurisdiction in the State of California

9. If any of the provisions of this Agreement are found to be unenforceable, the remainder shall be enforced as fully as possible and the unenforceable provision(s) shall be deemed modified to the limited extent required to permit enforcement of the Agreement as a whole. WHEREFORE, the parties acknowledge that they have read and understand this Agreement and voluntarily accept the duties and obligations set forth herein.
