Hello, I am Jack, a kind, energetic and intellectual person, who will never say ‘no’ to a job given. I take a keen interest in computer hardware and machinery and have recently built my own desktop computer using spare parts that I gathered from unwanted computers. This self-built machine runs faster than my current Mac Laptop at present. I have applied for work experience at a respected Computer Store in Welling and was accepted because I came off as “Not the usual ‘Kevin and Perry’ style teenager.” Once I am given a job and figure out an efficient system of completing that job, I can work quickly and professionally._____________________________________________________________________________________________

Current Employment:

- Student at Thomas Tallis School (14/6/12), having studied Media Btec, Drama and Theatre Studies and at a point studied Philosophy (A subject that I thoroughly enjoyed.)

- Workhand/Tea maker/Survey Assistant at Blue Mantle Antique and Fireplace Showroom. For the past few months I have been working here at my fathers business. I work here every Saturday from 11 am – 5:30 pm. I assist in fireplace surveys, where I check chimneys for internal damage, and I assist in the restoration of fireplaces (Original fireplaces up to 100 years old and new fireplaces) I only get paid £20 per day of work, which may not be much but I maintain that I work with my dad “To learn the value of a hard days work.”

Interests and Achievements:

I enjoy very specific things when it comes to my personal interests. I am interested with the British Empire and its history, collecting various items from it. I often watch documentaries on Science and Nature, including Astronomy. I have planned to own my own Ant Farm, but have yet to order the ants. As stated before I am also very interested in the Hardware of Computers and one of my most prized achievements as of yet is the building of my own personal computer.

Interpersonal Skills:

I try my hardest to be a kind person and I always treat people with respect. I have also been described as being very polite. I have displayed good problem solving skills in the past and will usually think my way through situations that I find troubling.
