Gamma Camera "Philips and ZLC- 37 Siemens gamma camera modified by
Hungarian Mediso" and perform quality control using Co- 57 point source
for intrinsic uniformity and Co- 57 disc type flood source for all system
uniformity tests . The workload was about 15 patients per day. In addition
calculation and preparation of the therapy dose "I- 131 and P-32" for
patients and protect both the staffs and patients from external radiation.
In the field of radiotherapy:
Treatment planning of cancer patients by teletherapy (using ROCS and
Pinnacle treatment planning system) and brachytherapy (using ABACUS
3.1 treatment planning system for GammaMed 12i), proper execution of
the treatment.
Determination of absorbed dose to water for Cobalt- 60 gamma ray
beams, high energy photon beams and electron beams using TRS - 398,
TRS- 277 Protocols.
Commissioning of Cobalt- 60 gamma ray beams (MDS-Nordion), and high-
energy photon beams and electron beams (Elekta).
Supervising and administrating of PACS system in the capacity of medical
physicist.
