Dear friends, dear colleagues,
For the first time, NIIOS USA is now organizing a Cornea Evening in the US that will coincide with
the first day of the ASCRS. On Friday May 5th 2017 you will hear the latest developments and
insights in the field of corneal transplantation, followed by music. This Cornea Evening has a special
touch since we would also like to celebrate the 10-year DMEK jubilee with you!
The positive response on the last NIIOS Cornea Evenings prior to the ESCRS inspired us not only to
include ‘hot topics’ on DMEK for Fuchs endothelial dystrophy, but also to present the latest devel-
opments in ‘Advanced DMEK’ for complicated cases. In addition we included information on our
newest innovation Bowman layer transplantation for advanced keratoconus.
We are honored to have internationally renowned speakers with ample expertise in these fields,
from different organizations as well as from the NIIOS Fellows Alumni Club and from the NIIOS-
team. During the evening there will be plenty of opportunity for networking and sharing knowledge
and experience.
Since only a limited number of seats is available, please notify us a.s.a.p. about your attendance.
You can find information about registration on the backside of this invitation.
We are looking forward to see you on May 5th in Los Angeles!
With warm personal regards,
Gerrit Melles,
On behalf of the entire NIIOS-team
