MISSION STATEMENT


BACKGROUNDEstablished in 2004, 24/7 Security Services provides

integrated security solutions by combining manpower

with the latest security technology. Owner managed and

driven, the company was born out of a need for a South

African security services provider that understands South

Africa’s unique security landscape and needs.

David de Lima, a former member of the SAPS with over

25 years’ extensive experience in the fields of commercial

and residential security, took the gap in the market and

set out to create a dynamic security company with which

residential and corporate clients could partner.

Guarding and armed reaction form its core offering, and

24/7 Security Services prides itself in being able to keep a

watchful eye over a vast portion of South Africa.

At a state-of-the-art Command Centre, 24/7 Security

Services applies intelligence, technology, information

gathering and assessments to compile statistics and back-

end systems that ensure a premium service to clients.

OUR PEOPLE Today, 24/7 Security Services has a national footprint

and employs over 2 500 staff members, with a seasoned

management team boasting 100 years of combined

experience. Learnership and staff development

programmes provide on-the-job training, and a

progressive Employment Equity policy that ensures

employees are promoted from within the company.

To give back to local communities, 24/7 Security Services

runs a number of CSI initiatives in Alexandra, home to most

of its Johannesburg staff. It is also continuously investing in

green initiatives to reduce its carbon footprint.

GUARDING SERVICES

GUARDING SERVICES24/7 Security Services is well-versed in supplying physical

guarding services that incorporate both armed and

unarmed security officers, in the following environments:

Commercial, Residential and Retail Services• Expertly-trained security personnel are deployed to

numerous blue-chip clients

• Minimum Grade C security officers are posted, unless

otherwise requested

• All staff are thoroughly vetted and criminal clearance

checks are carried out prior to deployment

assessors and moderators oversee the use of arms

- All armed officers are trained, have competency

certificates and undergo regular training and

assessments. Training incorporates tactical,

theoretical and practical exercises

- Lasershot (simulation system) is used with –

top-notch simulations for firearm training
