What is Professional Competency?

How is it Achieved?

How is it important to future career goals?

Competence sets a foundation in school and work. Different skills set you apart, and make you more of a better candidate for future career opportunities and accolades. Depending on the job structure, these same competencies will also affect your financial benefits. When going for a new job references may asked to be provided. These speak to the characteristics of that person; which can make or break your opportunity in starting a new career as well. These capabilities are ones that develop overtime through hard work, dedication, trial, tribulations and being open minded.
