PERSONAL COMMENT

POVERTY – I think poverty is a good element of personal comment because it is a significant element within society. To capture poverty I

would like to get in a model dressed as a homeless model and the same model dressed in a suit. I think it would be good to also locate a shoot like this in London on south bank sitting along the edge of the

embankment. This would show that the character has positioned themselves in a wealthy area.

DIVERSE SOCIETY – I will photograph diverse society by photographing Beth in her head scarf and some with her not in her head scarf. I will also photograph Amelia standing next to her whilst she's in her head

scarf to show the diversity within cultures.

STEREOTYPES – One stereotype shoot I will do its on youths and there stereotypical

impact within society. The stereotypical view of teenagers are smoking, drinking, drugs,

gangs and no ambition. However the majority of our generation challenge this by going to university, getting themselves a job, keeping fit and having fun without harming anyone. A shoot here would be effective in

the sense that you could get someone in the studio who follows that studio then

someone who goes against it. Incorporating a style into your originality. Taking a fashion statement that is in the

publics eyes and adapt it to your personal opinion. For example PVC is a popular

material of clothing at this moment in time so I could incorporate this into a shoot.

Young children reading technology over than books. Get a young model in and photograph her on an iPod and different technology wearing 2014 clothing. Then photograph the same model in old fashioned children's clothing wearing books.
