Xanthan Gum
The new technology permits innovative and attractive products.Limitations in process technology, such as those when working with conventional hydrocolloids, don´t occur withthese new colloidal systems. The independence from temperature, pH value and various other processing parameters is one of the manyoutstanding properties of JRS´s actived colloidal systems.
The rheology of this VIVAPUR composite with Xanthan Gum is very interesting for personal care products.
The rheology of VIVAPUR composite is not influenced by temperature like Xanthan Gum.And this is an advantage especially for creams made with pigments like sun care products.

Colloidal systems from JRS are suitable as multifunctional stabilizers.The colloidal systems consist of a combination of insoluble colloidal particles from microcrystalline cellulosethat are coprocessed with a water soluble component (Cellulose Gum).
VIVAPUR stabilizer bring structure and a very gentle and soft skin feel to creams and lotion.And it improves heat stability of emulsions and gels.
Especially Xantan Gum and Cellulose Gum coat every particle of microcrystalline cellulose which ensurep y y p yformation of a 3D network through electrostatic repulsion.This improves also the distribution of creams and lotions on skin.
And the 3D network prevents sedimentation or other particles like pigments in sun lotions.
VIVAPUR composites in general can be used in formulations of very fluid lotions and of course sprays.
