Barbara that is negative in context. Willie Jay writes an analysis about the letter, and it shows that Barbara is very annoyed and wants to do little with Perry.
• Man vs Self: Dewey and the other detectives work even when they are sick in order to close the clutter case.
• Man vs Man: Dewey in approached by a random ranch hands in Hartman's Café about why haven't they caught the killers yet and Holcomb is still on edge.
• Man vs Self: Floyed Wells debates with himself whether or not he should tell the authorities that it was Dick and Perry that killed the Clutters.
