INTRODUCTION I PICKED THIS QUESTION BECAUSE …
* Because I want to know how many people judge things by what it looks like. *Also I picked it because I like too cook.* And because cheesecake is good.
MY QUESTION!
My question isIf I have two of the exact same cheesecakes. I make one look really cute and make one look like I dropped it and see if people think if there is a difference in how it tastes.
BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE.
I know that some people judge a book by a cover and that people like appearances. I know that some people like to have things look nice and others don’t really care. I want to find the percentage of people that will judge the cake by its appearance.
That more people will choose the good looking cheese cake over the messed up cheese cake because of how it looks.
My Hypothesis
CONTROL = THE NICE LOOKING CHEESE CAKE. THE ONE THAT I DID NOT MESS UP
DEPENDANT VARIABLE = HOW PEOPLE SEE THE CAKE
INEPENDENT VARIABLE= The cake that does not look nice.
MY CONTROLLED VARIABLE IS
I will have two cheescakes baked at same time and same temperature with the same recepe
* Step 1- I need to gather materials for cheese cake
* Step 2- measure and mix everything together.
* Step 3- bake the cake
* Step 4-let them cool
* Step 5-repeat steps 1-4
* Step 6-make one look better( drizzle chocolate)
* Step 7- drop one cake on the counter and make it look messy.
* Step 8-have 5 people my age try both then record data
*STEP 9- HAVE OLDER PEOPLE TRY BOTH AND RECORD DATA
* STEP 10 – MAKE POWER POINT PRESENTATION
