Typical processes and applications

Process technology

Good utilisation of the cooling medium isdecisive for effective operation. Since thephysical characteristics of the applicable raw materials cannot be modified, themechanical features have to be optimallydesigned. Therefore, the machines made byReimelt Henschel possess a mixing toolwhich brings the complete batch into a circulating and cross mixing movement. Each individual mixing blade is designed for lowfriction input, however, same time providinga certain pressure of the product particles tothe cooled wall in order to achieve very highheat transition values (so-called K-value).

Of course, the complete drum areas includingthe large cleaning opening are water-cooledand entirely provided with mixing tools. Thewater guidance in the jacket, concerningcross-section and execution, is consequentlydesigned for turbulent water flow in order to
