He is considered a specialist in the area of English liturgical music, writing on the topic of Anglican chant, and having recently led choirs in residence at St. Paul’s and Canterbury Cathedrals. Earn your Master of Music in Choral Conducting through an intense three-summer program in Los Angeles – the perfect scheduling solution for teachers and professionals. This unique program will allow you to refine your conducting and rehearsal technique, musicianship, and vocal pedagogy with hands-on attention from prestigious and experienced faculty.

Each summer residency is seven weeks long and includes a one-week choral festival of lectures, master classes, and performances with prominent guest artists. The Three-Summer Master of Music is offered in special sessions through the College of Professional and Global Education and is managed by the Department of Music. This degree program is the same as the regular session program offered through the Department of Music, and is fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM).
