Day 1 12:00pm Travelling makes everyone hungry, so decamp straight to The Dormy for lunch while you plan your perfect days. You won’t be able to miss the view of the King’s Course! 2:00pm After lunch a family lesson with one of our professionals is the perfect way to spot any budding Rory McIlroys in the family. 3:00pm Once you have perfected your swings, it’s time to play a round. Nine holes on the Wee Course is just long enough to put those new-found skills into practise! 5:00pm Walk up to the hotel and check out your room – we have lots of beautiful family and inter-connecting rooms and bouncing on the bed is positively encouraged. 5:30pm Take a dip in The Health Club, before a delicious family supper in the Birnam Brasserie. Day 2 9:00am Get up bright and early and head for breakfast at The Strathearn; with our fruit buffet and pancake station, they’ll get their five-a-day in before they even notice. 10:00am Head to the stables for our magical own a pony experience – learn how to tack up and groom one of our gorgeous ponies before taking it for a ride. 11:00am If the small people have energy to burn, borrow some of our bikes and go for a tootle around the estate. There are 850 acres to explore, but don’t worry, we’ve signposted some easy routes for little legs. We can organise a picnic to take with you, or why not have a quick lunch in the beautiful Century Bar? 2:00pm You’ll definitely want to fuel up before your next activity; off-roading for all the family with our fantastic mini-Land Rovers. When you’re out and about, visit our Shooting School and make friends with one of our adorable gun dogs, or say ‘hi’ to one of our golden eagles or Harris Hawks. Falconry is one of the oldest sports in the world, and no-one could ever be bored when you’re face to face with one of these magnificent creatures. 4:00pm Then it’s time to chill out on the lawn with some traditional games – anyone for croquet? – with an ice-cream, of course. 7:00pm Then enjoy the traditional service and delicious cuisine of The Strathearn before heading to bed. Day 3 9:00am Smoothies ahoy! It’s back to the Birnam for a light breakfast, before learning a new skill together. 10:00am The whole family can enjoy our archery and air rifle experiences, with patient instructors who really know their stuff and specially designed equipment for the younger members of the party. There’s nothing like a bit of friendly competition to get things going, so why not start a new tradition and have your own family cup? 1:00pm Wind down with a picnic at Laich Loch with a fly fishing lesson – you’ll have to be quiet, or those wily old trout will hide away. If you get lucky, our kitchen team will prepare and serve your fish for supper that evening. There is plenty to do at Gleneagles and even more in Scotland with Stirling Castle, Blair Atholl and a host of distilleries right on our doorstep. GLENEAGLES.COM Perfect days... for family memories

Perfect days... for just the two of you

Day 1 12:00pm Gleneagles is the glorious playground, calling for

you to get out and explore! Start with a bite to eat in The Dormy as you lay your plans.

2:00pm Then head over to The Falconry School to meet our stunning birds of prey. Learn the ancient art of falconry, fly a hawk, or hang out with one of our magnificent golden eagles.

4:00pm Head to The Spa for a spot of relaxation in our cocooning heat experiences, before melting your cares away with a relaxing massage.

7:00pm Slip into something special before sipping something special at our beautiful Century Bar, right in the heart of the hotel. Then it’s on to dinner in The Strathearn – begin with a glass of champagne (naturally) before indulging in 1920s inspired, glamorous fine dining – silver trollies and silver service are very much the order of the evening.

Day 2 8:30am It’s going to be a busy day so get the carbs on board

with our legendary Strathearn breakfast. Pancakes and mimosas? Why not!

10:00am Then get suited and booted (we can loan you wellies and a Barbour if the weather isn’t playing ball) before heading to the Shooting School where our expert, friendly instructors will teach you how to handle a bow or an air rifle.

11:30am Next, get a unique perspective on our 850 acre estate from one of our elegant horse-drawn carriages, with a picnic lunch.

2:00pm Then it’s over to The Academy for a golf lesson with one of our professionals, who help players of all levels get to grips with this brilliant sport.

3:30pm In the afternoon you could stroll around the estate on one of our iconic Pashley bikes, go for a swim in our adult-only pool, take afternoon tea in The Glendevon Room, or try your hand at our traditional lawn games with an ice-cream (be careful though, croquet can be deadly competitive).

6:00pm Get your glam on and treat yourself to a mani and pedi and blow-dry at Bob & Cloche. Then head for the American bar, our darkly glamourous grown-up cocktail bar. After a cocktail (or two), experience world-class cuisine at Andrew Fairlie’s two-Michelin star restaurant, with paired wines.

Day 3 8:00am After all that, you’ll fancy a lazy start to the day so how

about breakfast in bed with the papers (sometimes there’s something so nice about doing things the old-fashioned way).

10:00am It’s time to shake a leg and conquer new heights with our peak experience: explore one of the hills around the estate, accompanied by one of our knowledgeable ghillies and an adorable Garron pony. Specially bred for the moors and hills, these wee beasts will definitely capture your heart – make sure your phone is charged, update your insta feed and don’t forget to tag us on #glenmemories.

1:30pm Finally enjoy a last lazy lunch in Auchterarder70 before heading home.

There is plenty to do at Gleneagles and even more in Scotland with Stirling Castle, Blair Atholl and a host of distilleries right on our doorstep.

Perfect days... for golfing buddies

Day 1 12:00pm Gather your favourite friends together, load the car

and off you go. Arrive in time for a light lunch at Auchterarder70 – with amazing views of the King’s and Queen’s courses.

1:30pm Check in at the golf shop on your way to The Academy, where you can warm up and mentally prepare for the round ahead.

3:00pm Now you are ready for tee-off – take a couple of buggies and make an easy, relaxed afternoon of it.

5:00pm Head back to Auchterarder70 for the traditional post-round pint or cocktail, followed by a casual dinner in The Dormy. Treat yourselves to our grass-fed Tweed Valley steak while you discuss the finer points of play, celebrate your win, or plan your revenge.

9:00pm As evening falls why not retire to The Blue Bar, our unique outdoor space, for a final nightcap and cigar?

Day 2 7:00am The Strathearn breakfast is the stuff of legends; indulge

in smoked salmon, a full Scottish breakfast; made-to-order pancakes, a Bloody Mary and lashings of coffee as you check the weather for the round ahead.

8:30am Head to The Academy first, where one of our professionals will check your swing and give you a few tips before you head on to the iconic King’s course. Full of twists, turns and challenges, it’s been testing golfers since 1919 – but don’t forget to pause and appreciate its beauty as you go round.

11:00am Stop for a quick snack at the Half Way House to keep you going until popping to The Century Bar for a light, late lunch.

3:00pm After lunch, try something different and book your group in to The Shooting School. Try your hand at clay target shooting, pick up an air rifle, or learn something new like archery. Our fantastic instructors are on hand to show you the ropes and can even set up a competition if there are still scores to settle from the morning. If that all sounds like too much hard work you can relax in The Health Club with a leisurely swim and thermal experience, or book a luxurious spa treatment to get rid of any aches and pains.

7:00pm Dress for dinner and meet for one of Lulu’s exclusive cocktails at the glamorous American Bar, before enjoying an elegant dinner in The Strathearn. If you’re still not ready to call it a night, drop by The Century Bar to explore our extensive collection of whiskies.

Day 3 9:00am Get an early start and keep things light with breakfast

in The Birnam – a Scrabster crab omelette or freshly prepared juice will see you right.

8:30am Head to the Academy for a quick warm-up, before tee-ing off at The Queen’s. Threading through high ridges on the north and west of our glorious estate, the Queen’s has lovely woodland settings, lochans and ditches and lots of tricks up her sleeve. As it’s the last round of the trip, it’s the perfect opportunity to swap stories about that hole in one – or indeed, the one that got away!

1:00pm Then it’s time for a light lunch and final one for the road in Auchterarder70 before heading home.
